Day 01 - Negombo

Arrive in Sri Lanka at Bandaranaike International Airport. Transferred to Negombo. (8 km, approx. 15 mins drive). Check in and overnight stay at a hotel in Negombo.
Day 02 - Anuradhapura

Breakfast at hotel and leave for Anuradhapura (a UNESCO World Heritage site). (215 km, approx. 5 hours drive) Check in at the hotel at Anuradhapura. Visit to the sacred ancient of Anuradhapura with the largest number of monuments of Sri Lankan civilization. Sightseeign the most famous as well as the tallest dagobas of Sri Lanka - Ruwanweliseya Dagoba, (2nd century BC) and the 3rd century BC Thuparama Dagoba. Ruins of royal palaces, pillars of the Brazen Palace, temples, the Samadhi Buddha Statue, monasteries, the twin ponds, guard stones and the moonstone. The Sri Maha Bodhi or the sacred Bo tree is the oldest historically documented tree in the world. Overnight stay at a hotel in Anuradhapura.
Day 03 – Mihintale

Breakfast at hotel and leave for Mihintale (12 km approx. 30mins drive). Visit the ancient remains of Mihintale Rock consisting of a stairway of 1840 steps made of granite slabs, 5 meters wide leads to the top with its spectacular view of the surrounding countryside. Leave for Sigiriya and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 – Polonnaruwa/Sigiriya

Pollonaruwa - Capital city of Sri Lanka from 11th to 13th century. It comprises Brahmanic monuments and monumental ruins of the fabulous garden-city created by King Parakramabahu I in the 12th century. Places to see - 'Vatadage, 'Thuparama Image house', 'Gal Viharaya'. Visit Sigiriya (25 km, approx. 30mins drive). Climbing the Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage site). Built by King Kassapa in the 05thcentury A.D. Sigiriya was a Royal Citadel for over 18 years. Seeing the famous Sigiriya frescoes of the "Heavenly maidens" and the 10 feet high Mirror Wall. (Optional - Elephnat Ride and Ayurveda Massage). Overnight Stay at Sigiriya.
Day 05 – Sigiriya/Dambulla/Kandy

Proceed to Dambulla. On arrival visit the famous Golden Rock cave temple of Dambulla (A UNESCO World Heritage Site). It is the largest and best preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka with Buddhist mural paintings covering 2,100 square meters and with 157 Buddha statues including a 47 foot long statue of the recumbent Buddha. Overnight stay at a hotel in Dambulla. Thereafter leave for Kandy. En route visit a Spice garden in Matale. Arrival in Kandy (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Visit the Temple of the Tooth with the sacred religious relic, the tooth of the Buddha. The Esala Perahera is a spectacular annual festival (in the month of July or August) where the inner casket with the tooth relic of the Buddha is taken in procession throughout streets of the city. Visit the Gem Museum, Wood Carving Centre, Market Place, and an Arts & Crafts showroom. Sightseeing Kandy Lake built in 1807. Then visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens with rare collection of tropical exotic and indigenous flora plus the famous Orchid House.Late evening enjoy Kandyan Cultural show, with dancers and drummers, at the Kandyan Arts & Cultural Centre. Overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.
Day 06 – Nuwara Eliya

Breakfast at hotel and proceed to Nuwara Eliya (77km, approx. 4.5 hour drive). En route visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens with a rare tropical flora collection plus the Orchid House. Arrival in Nuwara Eliya, situated 1890 meters above sea level. Sri Lanka's highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 ft) is located in Nuwara Eliya. En route visit a tea plantation and a tea factory. Nuwata Eliya City Tour. Nuwara Eliyas situated 1890 meters above sea level. Visit the Nuwara Eliya Town, Market place, Golf Course, (one of the finest 18 holes Golf Courses in Asia) the Hill Club, Lake Gregory. Sri Lanka's highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 ft) is located in Nuwara Eliya. Overnight stay at hotel in Nuwara Eliya. Overnight stay at hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 07 – Yala

Breakfast at hotel and proceed to Yala (197 km, approx. 5 hour drive), in the down-south of Sri Lanka. En route visit Rawana Waterfalls with a scenic backdrop of mountains and valleys. It is said, in the Rawana mythology, that Sita bathed from this waterfall while she was in captivity. On arrival in Yala, check in at the hotel. Afternoon commence a jeep safari in the Yala National Park. Yala National Park one of Sri Lanka’s prime eco tourisim destinations with diversity of nature and wildlife. elephants plus the leapord, spotted deer, sambar, wild buffalo, sloth bear, jackal, mongoose and crocodiles. The peacock, is easily seen around the park. (Optional - Open Jeep Safari). Overnight stay at a hotel in Yala.
Day 08 - Bentota or Hikkaduwa

Breakfast at hotel and leave for Bentota or Hikkaduwa - a tourist resort in the down-south with the most spectacular and sandy beaches. (241 km, approx. 5 hour drive). En route visit Galle. Places to see in Galle - Dutch Church, the Natural Harbour, the Dutch Cultural Museum and the National Maritime Museum. On arrival in Bentota, check in at hotel. Rest of the day relax in beach. Overnight stay at a hotel Bentota.
Day 09 - Bentota or Hikkaduwa

Breakfast at hotel and leave for Colombo or Hikkaduwa (101 km, approx. 3 hour drive), the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Check in at the hotel. City tour of Colombo in the Afternoon. Places to see - Colombo Fort (16th century Portugese grand colonial era buildings), the National Museum of Sri Lanka, Town Hall, Independence Square, Cinnamon Gardens, Buddhist Temple and a Hindu Kovil. Overnight stay at hotel in Colombo.
Day 10

Breakfast at hotel and leave to the Airport for departure (30 km, approx. 1 hour drive).
